Pacific X Auto will establish a joint venture with J-Tech, a Korean auto parts company, to establish a car transmission parts factory at 13,200 square meters in Daegu Technopolis Free Economic Zone from next year to 2020 at a cost of 14 million dollars.
The company will employ 63 people. All products are supplied to global parts companies located in the United States.
Meanwhile, Pacific X Auto signed a joint investment agreement with Korea's Hanho Industrial in August and decided to build a factory in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone, Yeongcheon High-tech Parts & Materials Industrial Zone, at a cost of $21 million by 2018.
